Jesse began his career in healthcare with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Louisiana State University. After six years of full-time work as a certified personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and nutritionist, he chose to deepen his understanding of the human body and its capacity for healing by pursuing advanced studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He went on to earn both Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM), where he received extensive training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and body-work. His doctoral work focused on evidence-based integrative medicine. Following graduation, Jesse spent several months in Nepal volunteering as an acupuncture physician with the Acupuncture Relief Project, where he provided care to underserved communities and gained meaningful insights into chronic pain management across diverse populations.
Outside of the clinic, Jesse enjoys fitness training, cycling, hiking, and traveling abroad. He nurtures a special interest in anti-aging and longevity science, and in his downtime, he relaxes with anime or watching quirky Twitch streams.
